How To Create Dream11 Account

If you’ve ever wondered how to create Dream11 account and start playing fantasy cricket, you’re in the right place. Dream11 is one of the most popular fantasy sports platforms, and it’s super easy to get started. Let me walk you through the whole process step by step.

Step 1: Download the Dream11 App

First things first, you need to download the Dream11 app. Get the latest 2025 version of the app from play store, once it’s downloaded, open the app.

Step 2: Sign Up for a New Account

When you open the app, you’ll see a screen that says “Get Started.” Tap on that. Next, you’ll be asked to enter your mobile number. Type in your number and hit continue.

After that, you’ll receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your phone. Enter that OTP in the app to verify your number. Once that’s done, you’ll be asked to enter your name. Put in whatever name you want to use on the app, and you’re all set!

Step 3: Enter Your Name

After login, it will ask for your name. Just type the name you want to use for your Dream11 profile.

Once that’s done, you’ll land on the home screen of the app.

Step 4: Add Money to Your Wallet

Now, to play on Dream11, you need to add some money to your wallet. Don’t worry, it’s super easy. Here’s how:

Tap on the “Wallet” option at the top of the screen.
Click on “Add Money.”
Choose the amount you want to add.
Select your payment method—you can use PhonePe, Google Pay, or any other UPI app.
Complete the payment, and the money will be added to your Dream11 wallet.

If you haven’t verified your account yet, the app might ask you to upload some documents like your Aadhaar card or PAN card. Just follow the instructions, and you’ll be good to go.

Step 5: Create Your Team

Once your wallet is loaded, it’s time to create your team. Here’s how you do it:

Go to the match you want to play. For example, let’s say there’s a match between KKR and RCB. Tap on that match.
You’ll see a list of contests. Choose the one you want to join.
Tap on “Create Team.”
Now, you’ll need to pick 11 players. You have to choose:

1-4 Wicketkeepers
3-6 Batsmen
1-4 All-rounders
3-6 Bowlers

You’ll get a total of 100 points to use for picking 11 players. Pick smartly. Choose the players you think will do well in the match. For example, if you think Ruturaj will score big, include him. If Patheerana is likely to get wickets, pick him too. Once your 11 players are selected, press Next.

Step 7: Choose Your Captain and Vice-Captain

After picking your 11 players, the next step is to choose your captain and vice-captain. This is super important because:

Your captain will earn you double points.
Your vice-captain will earn you 1.5x points.

So, pick the players you think will perform the best in the match. Once you’re done, tap on “Review” to check your team. If everything looks good, hit “Save.”

Step 8: Join a Contest

Now that your team is ready, it’s time to join a contest. Here’s how:

Now go back to the contest list and tap on the one you like – for example, Mega Contest.
Then select the team you made and tap “Join”.
That’s it! You’re now part of the contest.
And guess what? You can create up to 20 teams for one match if you want to try different combos.
All your joined contests will appear in My Contests tab.

Step 9: Track Your Performance

Once the real match starts, open the Dream11 app and go to My Contests. You’ll see your live rank and points going up and down based on how your players perform. If your team does well, you win real money. The prize gets added to your wallet. You can withdraw it anytime.
